Getting The
Best Hair Care
|
||||||
| Getting
the best hair care will inevitably involve professional salon
services and salon quality products...
I'm quite sure this statement is not particularly surprising to you. The real intent of this article is to examine the pros and cons of doing your own hair and using drug store products. I think if we could opt to have our hair done professionally all the time, we would. Obviously there are some $$$ savings we are pursuing. So, what processes and products in caring for your hair, are ones you can expect fairly fool proof, if not good results?... And which products and processes should you seek professional hair care services and products? Let's face it, there are obvious reasons to opt for a trained professional when it comes to hair cutting . I won't bother to spell this out. I am sure we all have a story that we could share about ourselves, our hair (or somebody else's) and a pair of scissors in our hands. What falls into the best hair care "gray area" in terms of salon vs drugstore OR professional hair care versus do it yourself, are things that involve chemical processes and product choices. There are those among us who bravely purchase chemical hair processing products, off the drugstore shelf. Is this wise? And, do the best hair products and best hair care come down to a dollars and cents value? For example, I recently picked up a bottle of shampoo off a salon shelf and it was about $25.00?...How much better is this shampoo than the $8.00 product in the drugstore? Or is it even better? (The same question can be asked of every other variation of salon hair care product whose apparent equivalent can be found on a drugstore shelf.) For answers to these questions I had to do some digging. I began my research with an interview with a professional hair stylist. Biased opinion? True. But I was hoping for some insightful information, and I got it. Getting professional hair care. I also highlight a sampling of the latest hair products found on the salon shelves and some insight about them. After some objective digging on what qualities to look for in the best hair products I discovered, unless your a chemist, it will remain difficult for the average person to really discern between the ingredient lists of salon products and drugstore products. There are a few ingredients that you can watch for, that will help you make informed comparisons, when trying to pick the best hair products for yourself. If
you're re-thinking your hair style, this site offers an excellent
way to try out your hair ideas without scissors, chemicals OR TEARS involved.... |
