A Short List Of Favorite Beauty Products

It is always fascinating to me (go figure), to discover what can be found in a celebrity makeup case. Why? It's kind of like a little treasure chest full of the 'short list' of exceptional beauty products.

I would venture to say, that those short listed celebrity makeup items are definitely delivering a high quality performance because when you are a celebrity, you can't afford mediocre results.

Getting short listed is directly linked to these three things:

#1 The celebrity's first hand exposure on set to excellent quality, results driven cosmetics products via a talented professional makeup artist.
#2 The received tips and recommendations by a respected peer or beauty professional, on set.
#3 The word of mouth amongst their peer group has put a cult favorite on their radar and into their makeup case. Examples? Tarte Cheek Stain, NARS Powder Blush in "Orgasm" and Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler .

Whether 'on set', at a fashion shoot, a press release, a movie premiere, or what have you, actors and/or models experience a lot of beauty preparation. It is not exaggerated time frames, it is literally hours and hours for hair, makeup wardrobe etc for every day they work. The sheer focus of time and energy on this process will improve your product knowledge and fine tune your choices to the best performing cosmetics.

Budget constraints are not likely limiting their options. So, it makes sense that whatever they choose to use, is probably a very good product in its category and definitely worth my consideration.

The La Mer products are raved about by many celebrities, and in particular this prized night cream....and therefore should be included amongst celebrity makeup and beauty tips. However, the price tag is a little over the top...
