It
is always fascinating to me (go figure), to discover what can be
found in a celebrity makeup case...
No,
it won't be a map to the secret geographical location of the
fountain of youth. More likely, a treasured "short list'
of exceptional beauty products that they have tried and have proven
true.
In
other words, cosmetics that actually deliver exceptional
results. And the results have to be exceptional because
celebrities can't afford mediocre results.
Celebrity makeup,
and other cosmetics, choices are directly linked to three things:
One,
their first hand exposure on set to excellent quality, results
driven cosmetics , via the hand of a talented professional
makeup artist.
Two,
through the recommendation of a respected peer or beauty
professional.
Three,
its become a cult favorite and through a popularity under
current (not company marketing), found its way into their makeup
case. Examples include Tarte Cheek Stain and NARS Powder
Blush in "Orgasm" or a
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
.
And
whether 'on set', at a fashion shoot, a press
release, a movie premiere, what have you, actors and/or models experience a lot of
beauty preparation; hours of hair, makeup wardrobe etc for
every day they work.
