There are a lot of makeup products available ranging in
finish objectives of subtle glow to high drama sparkle. There is quite a variation in product formats

give you a better idea of types of options.

Application: There really are no 'rules' per say when it
comes to shimmer makeup...really more a matter of comfort zone and personal
style. It is best to follow individual product
directions. If there is no application tool, use clean fingers and apply
in small amounts at a time
When
it comes to glitter and shimmer makeup , experimenting prior to a big night out is always
a good idea.
